```Duties```

• Assist in building part time day program to provide meaningful activities to improve quality of life for traumatic brain injuries clients and spinal cord patients
• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
• Provide therapeutic interventions and techniques to promote independence and enhance quality of life
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their condition and maximizing functional abilities

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and their families
• Ability to assess patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and tools

• Proficiency in case management and coordinating care for patients with complex needs

• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and their integration into occupational therapy interventions
• Ability to work in home care and AFC settings and adapt treatment plans based on changing patient needs

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their condition and maximizing independence
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in occupational therapy techniques and research

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in occupational health, acute care, or hospital settings preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare team members
• Ability to effectively manage cases and prioritize workload
