Children's Therapy Corner has provided rehabilitation and therapeutic services for children across Michigan since 1997. We are a family-owned outpatient setting that specializes in providing quality therapeutic services to children with physical, sensory, behavioral, cognitive and communication needs. CTC is looking for team members that always want to go beyond, to search for new and different answers, and effective methods to help our children and families. To think out of the box! Required Qualifications Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy OT Michigan Licensure Pediatric experience within a graduate program or previous employment Ability to work during afterschool hours Responsibilities Evaluate and create individualized treatment plans for a variety of pediatric populations Plan and provide treatment sessions in a 1:1 or group setting for 30- or 60-minute durations Provide education, coaching, and advocacy to clients, families, and caregivers Participate in ongoing collaboration with others involved in the child's care to incorporate an interdisciplinary treatment approach for coordinated quality care Document assessment and treatment consistent with professional and practice standards for timeliness and thoroughness Engage in continuing education that is relevant to current caseload Use sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidence-based practice Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of best practice therapeutic techniques within the scope of occupational therapy Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in order to adjust treatment plan and sessions to client-centered needs.
