Desired Qualifications:

Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to candidates with strong pediatric backgrounds Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students functional abilities and develop evidence-based, individualized intervention plans Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with a range of needs Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations tailored to each students goals Maintain accurate and timely records, including therapy notes and progress reports Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments to support student access and participation Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
