Professionally, you'll be immersed in a K-12 environment in a small public school district, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. This role will broaden your knowledge in pediatric and educational occupational therapy, giving you invaluable exposure to different workplace practices and the chance to collaborate with fellow educators and leaders. It's a resume-building opportunity to sharpen your expertise with a wide spectrum of student needs.
Desired Background:
Valid Michigan OT license; school or pediatric OT experience strongly preferred Skilled in OT practice across school, home health, and pediatric healthcare settings Familiarity with working in collaborative educational teams
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct, evidence-based OT services to K-12 students Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote student success Adapt interventions to diverse student populations and educational goals
