1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position requiring 2 years of IPR and acute care experience at a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital. Details Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a tertiary teaching hospital Level II Trauma Center with one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible start/end times between 7am and 5:30pm Possibility of 1-2 prearranged weekend days per month No on-call requirements Requirements Active OT license required at time of consideration (if applicable) Minimum 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience required Current BLS certification (AHA) required Compact license not accepted, active MI state license required Additional Information Evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to help them regain physical and cognitive skills needed for daily living and safe discharge Facility offers comprehensive services including cardiovascular care, cancer treatment, and orthopedic services Dress code is olive scrubs for the IPR floor, with some flexibility on other colors excluding navy and burgundy Local candidates within a 35-mile radius may be considered local travelers
