Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join The Linden Center's collaborative therapy team. In this role, you will provide individualized occupational therapy services to young children, primarily ages 2-8, within our center-based, play-focused environment. You will support children in developing skills related to fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, daily living, play, and overall functional independence. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with BCBAs, behavior technicians, speech-language pathologists, caregivers, and other members of the child's treatment team to develop individualized goals and promote consistency across services. This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, child-centered therapy while supporting each child's participation, independence, and success across their everyday environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments. Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify each child's strengths, areas of need, and functional skill development. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, caregiver priorities, and the child's clinical needs. Provide play-based, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions targeting areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing and regulation, self-care, feeding, play skills, and activities of daily living. Provide individualized occupational therapy services to young children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs within a center-based environment. Collaborate closely with BCBAs, behavior technicians, speech-language pathologists, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team to promote consistency and generalization of skills across therapies and environments. Monitor client progress through ongoing assessment and data collection, modifying treatment goals and intervention strategies as clinically appropriate. Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines. Provide caregiver education, recommendations, and strategies to support skill development and generalization within the home and community. Participate in caregiver meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as appropriate to review progress, address concerns, and coordinate treatment recommendations. Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, insurance, and documentation requirements while providing high-quality, individualized care. Qualifications Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan and current compliance with all applicable professional requirements. Experience providing play-based, child-centered interventions that promote functional independence and skill development to pediatric populations Experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing needs, and other neurodevelopmental differences. Strong understanding of child development, fine motor development, sensory processing and regulation, self-care skills, feeding, play, and activities of daily living. Ability to conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each child's clinical needs and goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide caregiver education and practical recommendations to support generalization of skills across home, therapy, and community environments. Strong organization and time-management skills. Familiarity with electronic health record and practice management systems for clinical documentation and treatment tracking. Pay:

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
