Established by Anne E. Regalski, CTRS, in 2000, CTRS rapidly expanded throughout Metro Detroit in designing quality therapeutic treatment plans & services led by certified recreation therapists committed to a Client-Centered Rehabilitation Philosophy. Job Duties:
With support from contractor, recreation therapist sub-contractors: Provide quality social / recreation / community skill development, peer networking & community integration for 1 or 2 brain injured adults in clients' home & community. Work creatively & increasingly independently to: Assess client's needs, interests, functioning level Design & modify recreation therapy treatment plans, goals, objectives & interventions Accurately document client treatment records Identify resources, activities, outings & persons to support client in an ongoing TR program to help the client have friends & activities of their own!
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Therapeutic Recreation Strong relational skills for working closely with clients, families & treatment teams Proven ability to write concise, detailed & effective tx plans, measurable treatment goals & objectives, as well as, objective treatment reports & progress notes 2 yrs Therapeutic Recreation & clinical treatment team experience Other Preferred Qualifications include: TBI (traumatic brain injury) clinical treatment team experience, community integration experience, NCTRC certification Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Social Workers with knowledge of Recreational Therapy & Traumatic Brain Injury are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge and experience with psychological or behavior modification program implementation and management highly preferred.

Excellent driving skills & record (location is not specific
- clients are located all around metro Detroit) Professional references Estimated hours: 1 client
- approx 6 to 10 hrs per/wk 2 clients
- approx 10 to 18 hrs per/wk Flexible hours, scheduled independently w/client; additional hrs possible at times
Compensation:
$55
- 65 / hr starting wage, commensurate w/education & experience + documentation & travel pay & multiple bonus opportunities. CTRS, LLC, current needs: 2 primary therapists & 1
- 2 secondary therapists to augment primary therapist's client treatment.
