Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a significant impact by fostering students' independence, enhancing their ability to participate in school routines, and collaborating with a passionate team of educators and specialists.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Valid OT license in the state Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescent populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement IEP goals related to occupational therapy Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches suited for high school-aged students

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to high school students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies that promote students' success in academic and functional school activities Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and compliance with regulations Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations Participate in professional development and school-based team meetings as required
