Position Type:
Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in the Southgate area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative special education team while helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
What You'll Do:
Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of developmental, physical, and sensory needs Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Implement treatment plans focused on student-specific goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
What You Bring:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Active Michigan OT license (or ability to obtain) School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills A student-centered approach to therapy
