Job Description

Overview Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will work closely with a neuro-optometrist providing vision therapy and neuro-visual rehabilitation in a successful optometric practice. Training will be provided. Ideal candidate will have lots of enthusiasm, compassion, organizational skills, and enjoy working with children of all ages and individuals with traumatic brain injuries or those suffering from a stroke. This position has the potential for a life long career where you are making a difference and changing lives daily. Hours will be dependent on current case load. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, supporting patient care activities, and ensuring accurate care documentation with an EMR system. Occupational Therapy degree required. Please respond with resume. Responsibilities Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed by neuro-optometrist including vision therapy exercises and functional activities. Maintain accurate care documentation utilizing an EMR system, including progress notes, treatment records, and care plans in compliance with healthcare standards. Communicate clearly with clients, their families, and caregivers to explain therapy activities, progress, and care instructions to foster understanding and engagement. Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and the principles of visually directed occupational therapy for diverse populations including childeren and geriatrics. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with clients' families or caregivers to promote comprehensive care strategies. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
