Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Vision Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized vision developmental and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages, helping improve visual function and quality of life. Your therapy will involve administering vision exercises, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment, and collaborating closely with optometrists and other healthcare professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's behavioral issues and academic success as well as adult's recovery from stroke and traumatic brain injury. Training will be provided. Duties Administer customized vision therapy programs one-on-one to the patient addressing binocular vision issues, eye teaming, tracking, focusing problems, and other visual deficiencies. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR systems), documenting all patient interactions, test results, and treatment plans efficiently. Support front desk operations by managing patient service workflows, scheduling appointments, and handling medical records with confidentiality. Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and proper use of prescribed vision aids or optical devices while ensuring excellent patient care and service. Requirements . Experience operating EMR/EHR systems like PtE or similar platforms for managing electronic health records accurately. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care across diverse populations including pediatrics. Training will be provided.
