Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in school-based settings or working with children and adolescents preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support teams Knowledge of IEP documentation and development Flexibility to provide part-time and PRN coverage

Role Responsibilities:

Assess students to develop individualized OT plans that address fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Deliver therapeutic interventions in a school environment, adapting techniques to classroom dynamics Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and recommend equipment or modifications as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning environments Offer training and resources to educators and support staff as needed
