Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations and educational needs Proficiency with IEP documentation and goal-setting
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students functional abilities and identify barriers to learning and participation Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both 1:1 and in group settings Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and interventions Engage families and teachers in therapy goals, strategies, and accommodations Contribute expertise to the development of educational and classroom modifications Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies Enjoy a position that values your specialized skills and offers a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
