West Michigan Neuro & Functional Rehabilitation is looking for an exceptional PRN Occupational Therapist to join our growing neurorehabilitation practice in West Michigan. WMN was created to provide the kind of therapy that can be difficult to deliver in traditional settings: individualized, one-on-one care, longer treatment sessions, intensive rehabilitation, and continued opportunities for recovery beyond the traditional therapy timeline. We primarily work with adults and some pediatrics recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions , with a strong emphasis on helping people return to meaningful activities and greater independence in their everyday lives. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who loves neurorehabilitation, values clinical autonomy, and wants the flexibility to provide thoughtful, creative, patient-centered care without a high-volume productivity model. The position will begin PRN with a flexible caseload and significant opportunity to grow as the practice expands. Treatment may occur in our Zeeland clinic as well as patients' homes and community environments throughout the Holland/Zeeland area. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adults with neurological conditions, including stroke, TBI, Parkinson's disease, MS, and related diagnoses. Develop individualized, occupation-based treatment plans based on each patient's goals, interests, and functional needs. Address upper-extremity function, motor recovery, cognition, ADLs/IADLs, executive functioning, community participation, and return to meaningful life roles. Provide creative, evidence-informed interventions in clinic, home, and community environments. Educate and collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and other members of the rehabilitation team. Complete timely and accurate evaluations, treatment documentation, progress reports, and plans of care. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Help contribute to the continued development of WMN's neurorehabilitation programs and culture. Qualifications Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license. Passion for neurological rehabilitation and helping individuals maximize recovery and independence. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a growing multidisciplinary team. Reliable, motivated, compassionate, and patient-centered. Neurological rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required . We are also interested in excellent OTs who have a strong desire to develop their expertise in neurorehabilitation. Why Join WMN? $57-65/hour starting pay PRN W-2 position Flexible scheduling Approximately 2-10 hours/week initially, with opportunity to grow Longer, individualized treatment sessions Low-volume, high-quality care rather than a productivity-driven environment Diverse treatment environments including clinic, home, and community Opportunity to work with a growing multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team Opportunity to help shape programs and services as WMN continues to grow At WMN, we believe neurological recovery doesn't simply end because insurance visits run out or someone reaches the chronic stage of recovery. We want clinicians who are excited to think creatively, pursue meaningful functional outcomes, and give patients the time and individualized attention they deserve. If that sounds like the kind of occupational therapy you want to practice, we'd love to hear from you.
