In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to assess students' needs and implement individualized interventions. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and individualized strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility, creativity, and compassion for supporting students with varied needs and abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' physical, developmental, or sensory needs impacting school performance Develop and carry out intervention plans aligned with student IEPs Provide direct and consultative OT services within classroom and therapy settings Collaborate with educators and families to integrate supports seamlessly into daily routines Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress reports, and service delivery Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary planning This contract role offers a chance to hone your skills, positively impact education, and work in a supportive school community.
