Qualifications & Experience:
Active state license in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility to obtain) Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is highly valued Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Enthusiasm for fostering independence and improving students daily living and learning skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students developmental, physical, and sensory-motor needs within the school setting Design and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with teachers and other school staff Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Engage families and school teams with progress updates and recommendations Contribute positively to school culture by participating in meetings and collaborating on students educational goals
