Job Description

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as an Occupational Therapist in a welcoming educational environment. This position offers meaningful impact, providing therapy services that foster growth, independence, and classroom participation for students with a variety of needs. Position runs through January 2027, providing stability and the chance to see your students' progress over time. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Youll work full-time, ensuring comprehensive support for the assigned caseload. The workday brings variety and fulfillment, as you address fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and adaptive strategies for students.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota Experience in school-based OT, home health, or other pediatric healthcare settings preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary and middle school levels Dedicated to fostering student growth, engagement, and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs Develop therapeutic interventions to help students succeed academically and socially Assess students needs and update documentation in a timely manner Collaborate with educators and families, offering training and resources as needed Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Take pride in shaping young lives and supporting school communities with your clinical skills.
