- Direct patient care: continuous assessment of patient needs and functional deficits, patient care/treatment, on-going modifications to existing plan of care as needed, ability to initiate appropriate referrals to other disciplines when needed
- Work closely with skilled and dedicated interdisciplinary team in order to maximize patient satisfaction and overall success based on diagnosis and comorbidities
- Apply clinical expertise as necessary including but not limited to family and staff education/training, recommendations and guidance for safe and successful discharge, supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, communicating with Physicians to ensure fluency of care
- Complete documentation which follows regulatory guidelines (state, federal)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Currently licensed to practice in State of MN. New graduates and temporary license holders are encouraged to apply
- Ongoing attendance of educational seminars to maintain license(s) as required by practice acts for CEU credits.
