Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student development as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This assignment is located conveniently onsite near Blue Springs, MO, with a single position open for a dedicated professional to make an impact across multiple school sites during the 2025 fall semester. The role runs from August 17, 2025, through December 22, 2026, totaling 35 hours per week and offering a dynamic work environment.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Thorough understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong time management skills for multi-site caseloads Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental needs Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with educators and parents to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school requirements Travel between multiple onsite locations within the district as needed This position allows professionals the chance to enhance the lives of students while working within a supportive educational environment.
