Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This full-time position runs from late August through December 18th, coinciding with the winter break. You'll work primarily during daytime hours, enjoying some flexibility to craft your weekly schedule with initial guidance from school staff. Expect to engage with a caseload of approximately 32 direct students, serving about 800 minutes each week across several school campuses. Ideal candidates are dedicated practitioners passionate about enhancing students educational experiences through direct occupational therapy services. Your expertise will directly contribute to students growth and success in the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid OT or COTA license in Missouri. Previous experience working in school-based OT preferred. Ability to manage a dynamic caseload independently. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Organizational proficiency with scheduling and documentation. Commitment to supporting diverse student needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) across assigned sites. Develop and adjust treatment strategies in partnership with educators and families. Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals.
