1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with LTC or SNF experience for a 13-week contract in a Long Term Care setting in Mound City, MO. Details Long Term Care (LTC) setting Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation 35 hours per week Requirements Active Missouri OT license required; compact license accepted — license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of OT experience required Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions Monitor and document patient progress, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in the electronic documentation system Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings Supervise and support OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed Adhere to
