Job Description

A dynamic opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students within a specialized school setting near Saint Peters, MO. This contract assignment starts on October 14, 2026 and is anticipated through January 29, 2027, providing coverage for a 12-week FMLA leave - with potential for extension depending on staffing needs. This is a rewarding position working with diverse caseloads and making a direct positive impact in a school community.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri. Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred. Ability to complete all district-specific credentialing (including fingerprinting and submission of TCN). Comfortable signing and submitting necessary technology-related forms. Adaptability to serve at one or more school sites as assigned. Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators, students, and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs. Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers and other service providers to ensure holistic support for students. Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings. Provide recommendations for assistive devices or modifications as necessary. Flexibility to adjust caseload as school assignments are determined.
