Desired Background:
Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Mississippi Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Prior experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is strongly preferred Excellent communication and documentation skills Adaptable and collaborative approach, comfortable in dynamic school settings
Role Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultative services for students Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students IEP goals Monitor and document student progress; adjust treatment strategies as needed Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment Educate staff and families on therapeutic techniques and accommodations
