Acute care environment Travel assignment Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans for adults in the acute care setting. Implement and adjust OT interventions focused on activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists to optimize care and ensure safe patient transitions. Document progress, goals, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; communicate clearly with the care team and families. Promote patient safety, infection control, and education to support optimal recovery and discharge readiness.
