Job Description
- 4:30 PM 8-hour shifts
Contract Length:
13 Weeks Weekend rotation may be scheduled with the therapy team Schedule may be flexible based on patient care needs 10-hour and 12-hour shifts are not available What You'll Do Provide OT services to patients in Transitional Care and Long-Term Care Complete evaluations and treatment plans Support discharge planning, including home setup and home health equipment needs Provide ROM, functional mobility, ADL, and rehab-focused therapy Work with geriatric patients with orthopedic, medical/surgical, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic conditions Document therapy care and patient progress using EMR systems Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams Float to acute care only if assigned work is completed and support is needed Required Experience Minimum 2 years Occupational Therapy experience- Required Preferred experience, in order: SNF TCU Rehab Acute Care First-time travelers may be considered with strong LTC/SNF experience Must be comfortable working with a primarily geriatric population Requirements Active Montana OT License
- Required BLS Certification
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or higher
- Required EMR experience required Strong computer efficiency and documentation skills Ability to work productively in a collaborative care setting Patient Population Transitional Care Unit patients Long-Term Care residents Majority geriatric population Ortho conditions Medical/surgical cases Cardiopulmonary needs Neurologic conditions including CVA and Parkinson's Team Support Therapy Supervisor Occupational Therapists PRN OT support Physical Therapists Restorative Aides Interdisciplinary clinical team
