Job Description

Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or COTA $50-$62/hour | Asheville, NC The Family OT is growing, and we're looking for a thoughtful, creative, and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are a locally owned pediatric occupational therapy practice in Asheville, NC. Our practice is neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and trauma-informed. We believe children do best when they feel safe, understood, and supported in being exactly who they are. Our therapists work with children and families across a variety of areas including sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, fine and gross motor development, self-care, feeding, toileting and pelvic health, and participation in everyday life. We're especially interested in finding an OT who values connection and autonomy and enjoys thinking beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Position Details Part-time position $50-$62/hour depending on experience Flexible scheduling Primarily in-person at our Asheville clinic Supportive administrative team Established referral sources and caseload Mentorship and collaboration with experienced OTs Opportunity to grow your hours over time if desired Who We're Looking For We'd love to meet an OT who: Holds a current North Carolina OT license or is eligible for licensure Enjoys working with children and families Is curious, creative, and comfortable individualizing treatment Values neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care Communicates well with families and team members Is dependable while also bringing their own personality and clinical style to their work Is interested in continued learning and professional growth Experience in pediatrics, sensory processing, pelvic health, feeding, executive functioning, or somatic approaches is wonderful but not required. We are open to the right newer clinician who is eager to learn and feels aligned with our practice. About The Family OT The Family OT is an established pediatric occupational therapy practice serving families in Asheville and the surrounding Western North Carolina community. We have a collaborative team of occupational therapists, therapy assistants, and administrative staff, along with strong relationships with local families and referral sources. We care deeply about creating a workplace where therapists can do meaningful clinical work without feeling like they have to fit into a rigid therapy model.
