Job Description
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with educational documentation and IEP writing Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adaptability in a dynamic, student-focused settingKey Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments of students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with IEP teams Provide direct therapy to students to support participation in classroom routines and academic activities Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to offer strategies for supporting student access to curriculum Maintain thorough, timely records and contribute to eligibility, progress, and IEP meetings Support inclusion and help foster students' independence and self-confidenceBenefits and Perks:
