Job Description
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active, current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license (please include a snapshot when applying) Demonstrated school-based OT experience, with strong ability to support IEP goals and educational outcomes Familiarity and hands-on experience with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) Confidence and professionalism in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Excellent organization and documentation skills, essential for managing an itinerant caseload Previous experience in educational settings highly preferredMain Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive OT evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students ages 3-21 Travel between designated school sites as assigned, offering adaptable and timely services Collaborate with IEP teams, attend relevant meetings, and contribute expertise to support student success Maintain thorough records, complete all required documentation in ECATS, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Adhere to state and federal guidelines, as well as local district policies This full-time contract position is available for immediate start and tentatively through January 31, 2027, making it an excellent opportunity for those ready to step into a meaningful role for an extended, but defined, period.
