Qualifications:
Valid licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Flexibility to quickly adapt to new environments Dedication to fostering student independence and success
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy interventions for students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom Document progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure maximum student benefit Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team solutions Educate school staff on strategies to support student motor and adaptive skills
