, Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs to enhance patients' functional abilities. In our pediatric clenic you will play a key role in helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will support patients of all ages in pediatrics, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each unique need. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to develop effective treatment plans. Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence in tasks such as dressing, grooming, and mobility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge strategies, and post-acute care transitions. Implement therapeutic interventions for individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurological impairments. Engage in case management activities to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Contribute to discharge planning by preparing patients for successful reintegration into their daily environments. Support early intervention programs by working closely with children and families to foster developmental progress. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform accurate assessments and interventions. Skills Strong ability to assist patients with ADLs and functional mobility tasks. Experience in discharge planning and case management across diverse healthcare settings. Proven expertise working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Familiarity with early intervention programs for pediatric populations. Knowledge of occupational health practices within corporate or industrial settings. Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs and goals. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to occupational therapy practice. Experience collaborating with speech therapists and other allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Pay:
$40.00 - $48.00 per hour
