Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license for North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain. Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based setting is highly valued. Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation. Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt resources creatively.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements. Assess student functional abilities, needs, and progress within the school environment. Develop and implement individualized interventions focused on academic success and daily living skills. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and legal requirements. Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing clinical expertise to educational teams. Liaise with families and faculty to foster student development and accessibility.
