Occupational Therapist School Setting in Amherst, NH

Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred, with comfort serving diverse student populations Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy for elementary and high school students as outlined in IEPs Conduct assessments to determine students' unique needs, strengths, and goals Collaborate closely with special education teams and contribute professional input during IEP meetings Develop adaptive strategies and modifications for classroom participation and learning success Maintain thorough and timely documentation to support compliance and positive outcomes
