Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensed Occupational Therapist with New Hampshire eligibility. License required to start the position. BLS (AHA) certification required. Experience providing Occupational Therapy in an outpatient rehabilitation or ambulatory clinic setting. Strongly preferred. Familiarity with evaluation and treatment of upper quadrant pathologies, neurologic impairments, general orthopedics, and post-operative care. Proficiency with manual therapy, neuro-rehab techniques, exercise modalities, and use of functional activities in treatment. Role Summary and Responsibilities Provide Occupational Therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. Administer treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician to restore function and prevent disability. Assess pain and functional limitations and coordinate with physicians for interventions when needed. Develop and implement teaching plans for patients and families and evaluate effectiveness. Document patient care and maintain clinical records in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Operate and maintain equipment safely and maintain department cleanliness and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult other departments to ensure coordinated patient care. Supervise and direct department staff as appropriate, including OT assistants, aides, students, and certification applicants. Participate in orientation, in-service training, and performance improvement activities. Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient charges and use approved abbreviations when recording information. Schedule Days. Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00. Weekend requirements to be determined. Duration and Start Direct hire position.
