Duties Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs), mobility, and sensory integration Assist families with discharge planning by coordinating care transitions and ensuring continuity of services Support clients with autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and disabilities through targeted interventions Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and medical professionals to optimize patient outcomes Document clinical progress accurately Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and strategies for ongoing support at home or school Experience Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings such as inpatient care, outpatient clinics, schools, or home health environments Hands-on experience in pediatric occupational therapy including early intervention programs and school-based services Demonstrated ability to implement occupational therapy programs tailored to clients' unique needs—especially those with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism spectrum disorder Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs within educational settings is highly desirable Knowledge of evidence-based practice methodologies to ensure high-quality patient care and treatment plan development This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to leverage their occupational therapy expertise in a collaborative environment dedicated to improving lives through compassionate care.
