Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being to determine their occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to help patients regain or enhance their functional abilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in speech therapy, ICU, or critical care settings is preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for effective case management
• Familiarity with occupational health practices and regulations
