Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active and valid OT licensure in the state of New Jersey Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Assess and document students' functional abilities and needs within the classroom setting Collaborate with classroom teachers and school teams to support student access to curriculum Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote participation and independence Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings, to support student outcomes Maintain accurate and thorough records and progress reports Offer consultation to staff and families regarding student accommodations and adaptive strategies This contract role runs from early October through the week before Thanksgiving, perfect for professionals seeking a defined assignment and the opportunity to make an immediate positive difference.
