Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities await talented Occupational Therapists interested in making a difference in educational settings. This contract role offers the chance to work with diverse student populations in a dynamic environment, supporting learners from PreK through 12th grade across several sites within the district. In this position, you'll provide direct therapeutic services to students with a variety of eligibilities and needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and achievement. With a 30-hour workweek, you'll maintain a healthy work-life balance while building valuable experience in school-based occupational therapy.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred Comfort delivering occupational therapy in various settings, including school and home health environments Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and other service providers Flexibility adapting to different caseloads and school site requirements Must be available to work on-site throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' physical, sensory, and motor skill development to inform therapeutic interventions Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as specified in students' IEPs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with education teams to promote access to learning Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for teachers and families on strategies to boost student independence This assignment begins August 5, 2026 and continues through June 4, 2027, with flexibility in interview scheduling and a supportive panel interview process.
