Key Qualifications:
Active NM state (NMRLD) license required by start date. NMPED licensure required (pending status accepted at start). Experience or interest in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach. Comfort working on-site with elementary students. Caseload age preferences can be tailored during the interview process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students on-site at one elementary school. Collaborate with teachers and families to develop and implement individualized plans. Assess students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs, and track progress. Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state standards. Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team contributor.
