Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Mexico Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP documentation and therapy planning Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families Ability to provide evidence-based interventions for a diverse student population Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct evaluations and develop individualized goals to facilitate participation in classroom activities Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop effective strategies Track student progress and participate in IEP meetings as an active team member Provide both direct and consultative support to ensure student needs are met Offer guidance and resources to classroom staff to integrate strategies throughout the school day
