Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year to serve the student population in the Clovis, NM area . This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative educational environment and is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with educators and families to provide essential therapeutic interventions that support student development and classroom engagement.

Position Details Setting:

Public Schools (Various sites within the Clovis area)

Schedule:

37.5 hours per week

Dates:

August 10, 2026 - May 20, 2027

Caseload:

K-12 (Specific placements determined by experience and district need) Key Responsibilities Evaluate students' fine motor, sensory-motor, and self-care capabilities within the educational setting. Develop and implement individualized goals as part of the IEP process. Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom environments and materials. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Provide training and consultation to school staff and parents to support student success.

Requirements Licensure:

Must hold an active New Mexico State Occupational Therapist License .

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Skills:

Ability to work independently and manage a school-based caseload effectively.

Pediatrics:

Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric clinic is highly valued.
