Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program required. (Bachelor's or Doctoral degree acceptable if from an accredited program.) Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork required. Current OTR credential. Passing the NBCOT exam required prior to start. Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license required or application submitted to the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department prior to start. BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required. Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred for higher-acuity units including ICU, trauma, or neuro. (Preferred, not required.) Experience with ADLs, mobility training, patient lifts, splints, and adaptive devices required. Strong documentation skills and experience using hospital EMR systems required. Continuing education required annually for New Mexico license renewal. and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will provide additional information.
