Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying candidates. What You'll Do The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized plans of care, and provides skilled occupational therapy services designed to improve independence and functional ability.

Responsibilities include:

Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs, physician orders, and functional goals. Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, cognition, safety, mobility, and independence. Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and compensatory strategies when appropriate. Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Supervise and provide direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as appropriate. Educate residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff. Maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical documentation. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the resident care team. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional standards and applicable facility, state, and federal requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Nevada Occupational Therapist license in good standing or ability to obtain Nevada licensure. Strong clinical evaluation and treatment-planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong documentation and time-management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, geriatric, or long-term-care experience preferred. Why Silver Oak?
