Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Explore a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Required Qualifications and Skills:
Active Nevada State Occupational Therapist licensure Background in Occupational Therapy within schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings Proficiency in promoting both fine and gross motor skill development in children Familiarity with best practices for school-based occupational therapy services Open to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) with school experience Strong communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams School setting experience preferred, but candidates with other relevant backgrounds will be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver targeted interventions to address fine and gross motor skill challenges in students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs as needed Adapt therapy techniques and materials to diverse age groups and abilities This position provides a chance to work on-site and engage directly with students and educational professionals.
