Job Requirements Nellis Air Force Base, NV Top Secret Polygraph not specified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) $124,800 - $130,000 Job Description Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other related STEM field required. 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3+ years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD; or 9+ years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma/equivalent. Prior operational experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, with preference for candidates possessing instructor-level Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) experience supporting airborne EW platforms such as the EA-18G Growler or similar systems. Demonstrated experience testing, evaluating, and analyzing advanced Electronic Warfare systems and capabilities. Experience supporting developmental test, operational test, verification and validation, or systems integration testing of EW, avionics, sensor, or mission systems.. Experience supporting Modeling & Simulation (M&S) environments, including flight simulators, mission rehearsal systems, synthetic training environments, or related simulator hardware and software platforms. Ability to analyze complex technical data and collaborate with engineers, operators, and program stakeholders to assess system performance and mission effectiveness. Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary technical team. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, address, and prevent issues on complex systems and programs. Must have held an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance within the last 24 months. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance and applicable SAP/SAR access. Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with NGTS operations, integration, testing, and/or sustainment is highly desired.
- Experience with collecting, analyzing, and reporting DoD weapon systems operational effectiveness and suitability data is highly desired.
- Experience as electronic warfare (EW) aircrew, EW Intel analyst, or Weapons School SME is highly desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other productivity products is highly desired.
- Experience with Air Force's 5th Generation mission systems and/or Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) is desired.
- Knowledge and/or experience with components of JSE or DoD training simulators is desired.
- Candidates with math, computer science, engineering, operational research, or equivalent technical degree is desired.

Essential Job Responsibilities Provide on-site support of 31st Combat Training Squadron's Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role will support the JSE engineering team in assessing and optimizing performance and reliability of hardware and software components for advanced synthetic test and training environments within JSE at the JITTC-N. This will include, but are not limited to:- Plan, execute, analyze, and report component and system-level performance and stability on JSE software training systems, e.g. Next Generation Threat Systems (NGTS) and Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS), needed to sustain JSE training missions requirements.
- Support the JSE engineering team to prioritize and execute validation and verification (V&V) objectives required for operational readiness of various threat training simulators and associated mission debrief systems and support equipment.
- Monitor and analyze simulator system performance and reliability data daily for reports and documentation.
- Recommend changes and updates on simulators and support equipment as required.
- Support verification and validation (V&V) efforts by developing test plans, executing simulations, and documenting test methodology, procedures, and results.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge to help solve complex problems by interpreting technical manuals or similar documents.
- Support JSE Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop threat training systems integration, maintenance, and tests to optimize overall system performance, stability, and reliability.
- Support peer reviews of modeling and simulation models, analysis tools, and other software modules as required.
- Develop test methods and implement simulation software test tools, and other automated test scripts to optimize system.
- Facilitate rapid resolution of identified issues that impact operations thorough communication with task leads, program management, and other leadership as required.
- Collaborate daily with Schedulers, Logisticians, System Administrators, Field Technicians/Engineers, and customer engineering and/or program management teams.
- Generate technical briefings and deliverables to engineering teams, program manager, and government customers as required.
- Collect, analyze, and report validation and verification data on identified issues to support submission of deficiency reports (DRs) to relevant SMEs to find solutions and future improvements.
- Translate complex intelligence data into realistic, behavior-driven models within NGTS to reflect real-world system performance and threat behavior.
Compensation:
$60/hr to 62.5/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start day 1 of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
