Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for New York State Previous experience in a school setting, ideally with both elementary and middle school caseloads Strong organizational skills to manage a schedule averaging nine sessions per day Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse student needs Professional communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staffWhat You'll Do:
Deliver occupational therapy services across two school sites, planning and implementing interventions for students with a range of needs Manage a daily schedule of approximately nine therapy sessions, ensuring timely documentation Develop individualized plans in collaboration with educators and caregivers Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning Engage in professional growth and uphold ethical standards in every interactionSchedule:
Full-time role: 32.5 hours per week Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm Position starts as soon as possible, extending through the last day of school Take advantage of this fulfilling chance to support student success in a tight-knit school community.
