Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing dedicated occupational therapy services in a welcoming elementary and middle school setting. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now through the end of the school year, offering a positive environment and a manageable, walkable commute between two closely situated campuses.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license, with experience in school settings preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering services in accordance with student goals Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals Strong communication, time management, and organization skills Passion for supporting children's functional success in academic and daily routines
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver approximately nine therapy sessions each day, ensuring services address a variety of needs for both elementary and middle school students Engage in individualized and group interventions to enhance students' participation and performance in the school setting Conduct evaluations and reassessments, contribute to IEP meetings, and document student progress accurately and promptly Collaborate closely with school staff and families to maximize student outcomes and carry over therapy strategies Utilize planning periods effectively to prepare materials and document session notes Split time between two neighboring school buildings (each within easy walking distance), fostering relationships across both sites This assignment features a consistent weekday schedule: 7:30am - 3:00pm, totaling 32.5 hours weekly, and offers the chance to build lasting connections with students and staff in a supportive educational environment.
