Job Description

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to evaluate patients, develop patient care plans and provide necessary therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a referring physician, taking into account the individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.
Education:
Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational therapy and certification by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT). Employee is trained and prepared to care for the age-specific group served.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
New York State Occupational Therapist License.
Experience:
Possess two (2) years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Preferred:
None.
Knowledge:
Possess a working knowledge of New York State and Federal codes pertaining to Occupational Therapy. Possess knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Possess knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Full-time Sign-On-Bonus $10,000.00 for less than three years of experience, three years or more of experience $15,000.00
