An Occupational Therapist helps patients with injuries, illnesses, and disabilities recover, improve, or develop skills needed for everyday activities. Assists people with mobility impairments to move easily around their homes; develops school and workplace settings that are accessible for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. May specialize in certain types of impairments or certain categories of patients.

•Always Compassionate Home Care is hiring Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists all over Long Island, NY. This is a per diem 1099 position!
Qualifications/Education Required:
At least 1 year experience with pediatric patients Therapist license and registration BLS from American Heart Association Physical and QuantiFERON within one year MMR Titers within 5 years Malpractice Insurance NPI # Worker's Comp certification
Responsibilities:
Assist patients in redeeming their skills for independent living Implement Specific treatments for the quick advancement of the patient's condition Developing a personalized care plan appropriate for the patient's condition Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to stand/work for extended periods Additional responsibilities as required Pay per visit: $75 for 30 min $85 for 45 min $100 for 1 hour
