Job Description

Community Medical and Dental Care, a non-profit community health center located in Rockland County, NY, is hiring a Occupational Therapist specializing in Pelvic Floor Therapy. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Facilitate development and rehabilitation by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy specifically tailored to pelvic health and its impact on activities of daily living (ADLs). Help patients regain physical functioning and independence through therapeutic exercise, biofeedback, manual therapy, and lifestyle modifications. Evaluate therapy results by observing, noting, and assessing patient progress; recommend and implement necessary adjustments to the plan of care. Ensure continuity of care by instructing patients and caregivers in specialized home exercise programs and providing education for at-home care.
Qualifications:
Current NY State Occupational Therapy license (Required) Demonstrated experience or certification in Pelvic Floor Therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss sensitive health topics with empathy and professionalism.
Salary/Benefits:
$60 - $78 / hour Medical benefits package Flexible schedule
