Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New York State Previous experience working in school settings, with knowledge of IEP processes and delivering therapy services to students Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting professionalism

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEP or 504 plans Assess student needs and develop or adjust goals to promote independence and participation in school routines Work with educational teams to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed Document all services and student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines Communicate positively and regularly with staff and caregivers to ensure coordinated support
